Tashlich

Join us for this short service on Rosh Hashanah Afternoon
On the first day of Rosh Hashanah we go to a lake, river or to the sea (preferably one that has fish), and recite the Tashlich prayers, where we symbolically cast our sins into the water and leave our shortcomings behind us, thus starting the new year with a clean slate.

In addition we will be blowing the shofar, giving everyone an opportunity to hear it's powerful blasts. If you are not able to get to shul/synagogue on Rosh Hashanah day, you are invited to join us at Larz Anderson to participate in the Mitzvah of the day, which is to hear the shofar blown!
